COMMODORE HOTEL
This hotel is second in command for the long weekend celebration.
Like the Hotel Elliott, it is also located right in the heart of downtown Astoria
and is directly down the street and across the block from the ceremony site,
the Liberty Theater. This is a modern and hip European-efficiency style hotel
that has been renovated within the past year. Many restaurants and shops
are located in and around its premises as well. Its rooms comprise a mix
of "cabins" (units that share two common hallway bathrooms and two common
hallway showers) and "suites" (units that include bathrooms and showers
inside each room). In addtion, none of its rooms have air-conditioning
and none of its rooms are pet-friendly.
This hotel's prices are almost impossible to beat.
