The Liberty Theater

Saturday, August 21st, 2010 at 4 P.M.

It opened as a vaudeville theater in 1925.

It's current renovation started in 2002.

It's been reclaimed as the crown jewel of downtown Astoria.

And we are meta-excited to become part of its celebratory history.

The dress code for this event is "Semi-Formal/Black Tie."

An evening jacket, dress shirt, and/or tie for the men

and a gown or dress for the women would be an entirely appropriate form of dress.

We would like to respect the required etiquette of the theater,

but we also do not want any guest to feel overly restricted and/or uncomfortable.

Please feel free to dress oneself as if spending an evening

at the local opera house.

No jeans, "Polo" shirts, sneakers, video cameras, or cell phones, thank you.
